Nadjdi-Arabisch[bewerken]
Dag A455bcd9,
--MarcoSwart (overleg) 8 nov 2022 10:12 (CET)
- Hi @MarcoSwart, sorry I don't speak Dutch. I understand your concern but the issue is that neither the old map nor the new one are sourced. They're just original research done by random contributors, and they contain obvious mistakes (for instance, "Somali Arabic" doesn't exist). On the other hand, this map is fully sourced using highly reliable sources. And it's in SVG. But if you prefer low-quality content on the Dutch Wiktionary, it's up to you. Cheers, A455bcd9 (overleg) 8 nov 2022 10:17 (CET)
- Context is relevant for quality. In the context of a specific word in a dictionary, presenting the reader with lots of data not pertaining to that word is not "high quality": they may be well-sourced, but they are also redundant, making it harder to spot the relevant information. High quality in a dictionary is a simple picture with good contrast between colors. The picture we use now looks quite compatible with the one you proposed, is in SVG too and does not refer to any other varieties of Arabic. MarcoSwart (overleg) 8 nov 2022 10:40 (CET)
- Hi, you're right. (btw the picture is in PNG, not SVG.) Cheers, A455bcd9 (overleg) 8 nov 2022 10:42 (CET)
