Hartelijk dank voor uw medewerking aan dit project dat, zoals u waarschijnlijk wel weet, alle woorden in alle talen voor iedereen vrij en online toegankelijk wil maken. Uw bijdragen daaraan zien we met grote belangstelling tegemoet. Het Nederlandstalige WikiWoordenboek is een door iedereen vrij te bewerken woordenboek dat inmiddels 898.525 artikelen telt. Gun uzelf even tijd voor de tips in dit venster en begin daarna pas met het bewerken van uw eerste artikelen. Géén van die richtlijnen heeft kracht van wet, want WikiWoordenboek is en blijft natuurlijk vóór alles steeds vrij bewerkbaar. Een beetje houvast voordat u in het diepe springt kan natuurlijk nooit kwaad. Hoe leer ik dit eigenlijk? Is het niet vreselijk ingewikkeld? Iedere gebruiker heeft zo'n pagina. Wilt u een bericht voor iemand anders achterlaten, dan doet u dat dus op zijn of haar overlegpagina. Sluit uw bijdragen altijd af met vier tildes, dus zo: ~~~~. Een druk op de handtekeningknop heeft hetzelfde effect: uw bericht wordt automatisch ondertekend met uw gebruikersnaam en de datum en tijd waarop u uw boodschap voltooide. I did not necessarily mean you Moyogo. I was thinking more of Lmaltier to be quite honest. The quality of the Dutch entries at fr.wikt is atrocious to the point that I worry about schoolkids going there and learning how to do it wrong. I have tried to improve upon that a number of times only to run into Lmaltier telling me that he knows my language better than I do. Now he even came here to lecture us about Dutch spelling. Be honest: isn't that a little pompous?

Yes, it's his (or our) mistake to come here say you're wrong without giving solid arguments. But on the other hand, you can understand we are not ganging up to impose some weird French thing and there's something wrong with getting angry at a freshly new user (Bjung) after one edit. We respect your rules, we just don't know them until you tell us what they are. And we can disagree, but we can't just tell you your argument are wrong without pointing to references. I think now many users on fr.wikt know not to come here and do redirects or non-equal interwikis so if it happens again, please assume they just don't know what they are doing. As for Lmaltier on fr.wikt, like many users he can be hard to deal with sometimes, if there are issues that need to be corrected I'm more than willing to help. --Moyogo 28 sep 2011 08:28 (CEST)

Witte spelling

Dear Moyogo,

After 1805, Dutch has always had several proposed orthographies besides the ones officially approved. In fact, anyone is free to use any spelling of preference, the official orthography is only required for exams and official publications. Paradoxically, a major reason for using Dutch dictionaries is finding out about the official orthography and for this reason WikiWoordenboek limits itself to the (eight!) official orthographies of Dutch since 1805. The so-called "Witte spelling" (which itself has been revised too) is among the dozens of different orthographies deliberately not being shown. For this reason I removed your addition to appèl.
