Appropriate language name

As you will note from this message: I am still searching and verifying the months names. This term is indeed classified as Mittelfränkisch, but it is an "old version" - spoken around the year 800 like Althochdeutsch, but Mainfränkisch of that time - how can we outline this? maybe adding a note? -- SabineCretella 16 nov 2004 18:03 (UTC)

It is also classified as Oudnederlands: this name was introduced during the reign of Charlemagne so I guess Althochdeutsch is a better choice than Mainfränkisch. I have adapted the article accordingly. --MarcoSwart (overleg) 23 mrt 2021 20:30 (CET)
